ALTAR SERVERS
A very important part of the royal priesthood here at Saint Cecilia Parish are our altar servers. They exercise their baptismal and confirmation gifts by assisting the priest in the offering of the Mass. We are thankful to have these boys and girls serving in this ministry and students in grades five through eight are welcome to join.

SCOUTS
Cub Scouts Cub Pack 290 was chartered to St Cecilia Parish in 1955 and continues to serve the youth of Fox Chase. Cub Scout Pack 290 is part of the Boy Scouts of America, Cradle of Liberty Council, Roosevelt District, for boys in the first to fifth grade. Cub Scouting means "doing." Everything in Cub Scouting is designed to have the boys doing things. Activities are used to achieve the aims of Scouting: citizenship training, character development, and personal fitness. Many of the activities happen right in the den and pack. The most important are the weekly den meetings and the monthly pack meetings. Apart from the fun and excitement of Cub Scout activities, Cub Scouts teaches good citizenship and contribute to a boy's sense of belonging. Meetings are Thursday nights @ 7:00 to 8:00 pm in St. Cecilia School lunch room.
