Program Details and Calendar

The Parish Religious Education Program (PREP) assists parents -- the first and primary teachers of the faith -- in the religious education and sacramental preparation of their children who attend Charter, Public or non-Catholic private schools.

Our Level PreK-7 classes are every Sunday morning from 9:30am - 10:45am in St. Cecilia School, Building D, beginning 9/14/2025 and running through 5/3/2026.

Registration for Fall begins on 8/13/2025.

Class time includes a variety of opportunities beyond lecture to encounter God and His Word, learn about the Catholic faith and its sacred traditions, prepare to receive the sacraments and live life as Christian disciples by putting the Corporal and Spiritual Works of Mercy into action. We invite students in Level 5 and above to also serve the parish as an altar server. 

Students are prepared to make their First Penance in December of Level 3 and their First Holy Communion in May of Level 3. Level 6 students will begin studying salvation history, focusing on the Old Testament and begin preparing to receive Confirmation in the Spring of Level 7.

We can gladly accommodate students with disabilities and special learning needs in our program!

OCIA classes are also available for children ages 8 - 17 who have not yet been baptized to be fully- initiated into the Catholic church. We can also prepare those baptized youth who are just beginning their formalized religious instruction to receive the sacraments of Penance, Holy Communion and Confirmation.

Registration and Fees
PREP families should be participating, registered members of the parish. Students from other parishes are welcome if they provide a letter of permission from their current pastor. New students should provide a copy of their baptismal certificate. 

2025/26 Program Fees: 
One child: $130.00
Two children: $190.00
Three or more: $220.00

Those students receiving sacraments this year will also have an additional sacrament fee of $10 for the First Holy Communion Retreat and $30 for the Confirmation Robe and Retreat added to their program fee.

Once you complete this form, the Religious Education office will be notified and will review your application. If approved, you will receive an automated email from Parish Giving with login credentials for an account that was created for you. Sign into your Parish giving account to make a payment and select sessions for your child/ren. All Returning Families:
​​​​If you're a returning family, please do not fill out a form. You will receive an email from Parish Giving on the morning of 8/13/2025. This email will contain login credentials for a Parish Giving account that was created for you. There is no need to create a Parish Giving account. If registration opens and you don't receive the automated email, please contact Eileen at

Exploring the wonders of our faith with these young students will lead to a rewarding journey of discovery of your own. We will provide you with all the training, materials and support you will need.
