Adult Faith Formation

When Jesus first called the disciples, he formed the first Christian Small Groups. These groups, which meet for 6 to 8 weeks, 3 or 4 times a year, allow a person to grow in faith with a small group of 4 or 5 other people. The topics may include the Sunday Readings, a book on a spiritual topic or the life of a saint, or even a virtue. Groups meet at various times of the day and days of the week. Every Christian is invited to experience of the loving presence of God in prayer. Prayer is unique to each person and no one should compare their life of prayer to that of another person. Find a way of praying that works for you - allowing you to be aware of God's love and tender mercy. Here are some resources:

St Cecilia gathers to study the Word of God several times a year for a six week course. Bible Study is free, takes place in the Auditorium on Wednesdays (7pm to 8:30pm) and all are welcome. No experience needed. For more information on upcoming Bible Studies, contact Father Chris.
